The Graduate Archer Fellowship Program provides graduate students from across The University of Texas System with a unique opportunity to live, learn, and intern in our nation’s capital during the summer. Home to many government, media, research, and cultural institutions, Washington, D.C., offers unparalleled opportunities for career development and cultural enrichment. While in D.C., students earn in-residence coursework credit on their home campus and gain hands-on work experience in an internship. Through a shared cohort experience, Graduate Archer Fellows build lasting friendships and professional connections with each other. The Graduate Archer Fellowship Program is tailored to students’ own personal and intellectual interests, which allows them to connect their developing expertise to policy and public service.
Enrollment in the Graduate Archer Fellowship Program is limited and will be determined through a competitive process. The application process consists of two parts: (1) selection of semi-finalists based on submission of application materials, and (2) interviews of the semifinalists, from which Archer Fellows will be chosen.
The application deadline for the Summer 2025 Graduate Archer Fellowship Program is Friday, November 1, 2024 by 11:59 PM CST. Once the selection committee reviews applications, they will determine finalists to invite for interviews that will take place from November through early December 2024 and final decisions will be emailed by mid-December.
To be considered for the program, you must complete all sections of this application by the application deadline.
