The Archer Fellowship Program provides undergraduate students from across The University of Texas System with a unique opportunity to live, learn, and intern in our nation’s capital. While in Washington, D.C., students earn in-residence credit for their coursework and gain hands-on work experience in an internship. By living together near Capitol Hill, Archer Fellows build lasting friendships and professional connections with each other. The Archer Fellowship Program can be tailored to students’ own personal and intellectual interests.
The Archer Fellowship Program gives students a sense of direction and the tools necessary to launch their respective careers. Archer Fellows make and maintain social and professional contacts that can help lead to continued internship opportunities and jobs post-graduation. The Archer Center's support network is large, including a constantly growing alumni base with core groups in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., and New York City, among many others.
