Founded in 2001, the Archer Center is where Texas meets the world. As the Washington, D.C., campus of The University of Texas System, the Archer Center provides talented undergraduate and graduate students from across The UT System the opportunity to live, learn, and intern in Washington, D.C.
The Graduate Archer Fellowship Program
The Graduate Archer Fellowship Program was established in 2010 by The University of Texas System as a way to bring graduate, doctoral, medical, and law students interested in policy and politics to our nation’s capital to learn about the federal government and public service. Graduate Archer Fellows live, learn and work in the heart of Washington, D.C., during the summer. Selection is based on a competitive process, and we are pleased to be able to offer this experience to highly motivated students of The University of Texas System.
The application deadline for the Summer 2026 Graduate Archer Fellowship Program is November 1, 2025, by 11:59 pm Central Standard Time (CST). After the deadline, selection committee members review applications and select finalists for interviews that will take place from mid-November through early December 2025. Candidates will be notified of final decisions in mid-December 2025.
